DISAPPOINTMENT

What Is Disappointment?

What is disappointment other than another chance,
an opportunity to change your circumstance.

A time allotted to make life better in some way.
A chance to make up for the past one might say.

A chance to compensate for something done to another,
or even better, to become a Christian brother.

Disappointment is when we regret a decision,
or when we've realized we've acted with derision.

It's when our eyes are opened and what we see,
is that we haven't acted responsibly.

Disappointment is the feeling we get inside,
when our actions bring sadness instead of pride.

Disappointment is what allows us to try once more,
and this time to reap the happiness that hope has in store.

Hope eases disappointment and sends it away,
and gives us a reason for awakening each new day.

What I Have To Share

What I have to share during your time of pain,
is what gave me the strength to face life again.

I too felt overwhelmed as if I couldn't carry on,
then I found a new source of strength to lean upon.

I discovered I did not have to go through it alone,
I sought more strength and grace is what I was shown.

Grace that is sufficient for both you and me.
Grace that due to God's love, we receive for free.

Grace that makes the road smoother some how.
You can partake of it right now.

Call on our Savior, "Jesus" is His name.
He's waiting to relieve you of that unbearable pain.

All who seek will find is what we are told.
Don't hesitate, call out His name. He wants you to be bold.

Believe to receive and you will be blessed as was I,
then I guarantee your needs He will satisfy.

Now each desire may not be given to you,
but God will do what is the best. I know this is true.

Invite the Savior to enter your heart.
At once a new inner peace will start.

What is happening may go on just the same,
but how it effects you will change when you call on His name.

Won't you try and see what God has in store for you?
I promise you won't be disappointed if you do.

To Try And Fail

To try and fail is never a sin,
just brush yourself off and try again.

But to allow doubt to keep you from trying at all,
that would be a sinful depth into which to fall.

Thank God for giving you the desire to start,
just take the steps needed to do what He's put on your heart.

God would not place the thought in your head,
and then desire that you to falter or give in to dread.

Any doubt or hesitation that you feel,
is caused by Satan, for his need to stop you is very real.

Satan sets out to halt the progress of God's will in your
life,
he does this by causing doubt, hesitation or strife.

Rebuke that old Devil, as is your inherited right,
Jesus himself gave you this power and might.

Tell him "there is doubt, I know it is true,
but the doubt I am feeling, Satan, is doubt of you".

Stamp your foot right there on the floor,
"go away Satan you can't discourage me any more".

"God is my strength and my might,
and where He leads me I know to be right."

Yes to try and to fail is no disgrace you see,
I'll just keep on trying as my God leads me.
