I'm so excited I can hardly wait until tomorrow is today,
we have company coming, they are on the way.
Tomorrow they will be arriving, my heart beats with expectancy,
I can't wait till they arrive and are here embracing me.
If I, a mortal person, can be so overjoyed over seeing those
I love,
imagine our Father's delight as He welcomes us home above.
Arms open wide and a brilliant smile on His face,
so very elated we accepted His loving grace.
We are told there are mansions built there in which we
are to abide,
and can you even imagine seeing a lion and a lamb lying
side by side.
Oh what a glorious homecoming that will be,
when we are met by the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
all three.
We will even be walking on a street paved in gold,
honest, this is a fact which our Bible told.
It's also been said that eyes have not seen nor can we
imagine the beauty we'll see,
when at last we have arrived home for eternity.
I am anxious for my loved ones and so totally excited,
once they arrive I will be so completely delighted.
Great expectation fills my heart each and every day,
to know my Savior awaits my arrival in the same jubilant way.

I have great expectation that Jesus will be here one day soon,
we know not whether he'll arrive in the morning, evening
or noon.
We know only that the event will occur just as the Bible
said it would,
you'd think everyone would be elated and be ready as they
should.
But some people don't believe in what the Bible has to say,
why there are even people who have never knelt to pray.
Now I agree that being wrong is always a possibility,
it could be you or I'll give you even perhaps me.
Now if I am right and a second coming there will be,
I'll see Jesus and go home for eternity.
You, on the other hand, will be horrified at the arrival
of our Lord,
you will be judged and ejected from the presence of God.
But my friend if you are right and that event I never see,
I've still had a good life and enjoyed the time I've lived
trying to be sin free.
Are you willing to take the chance that it is you who is right,
taking a chance of being banished forever from God's sight.
Seek diligently and the truth will be plain to see,
accept salvation and you too will be going home for eternity.
We will all be filled with expectation, waiting to see,
Jesus as He returns to gather you and me.
