Economic Progress
The Russian economy has recovered significantly

1998 financial crisis. Strong export earnings have increased Russia's
foreign reserves,
which have been an important contributor to the
country's federal budget.
One problems is that increased exports are heavily dependent on natural

account for over 80% of exports leaving
