Forgotten Faith
Give up your faith,
You do not need be whole,
Faith is only that,
Which makes one so,
What is it?
To give up that,
Of which is not understood??
Question yourself.
Is he real??
And yet the man with no faith,
Speaks, And is not heard.
He sees, But is not seen.
Touches, But does not feel.
He is but a shadow,
Wallowing in his losses.
A man who is an empty shell,
Of what he once may have been.
Lips parched and dry from misuse,
Fingers worn to the bone,
Heart, Empty as the bottle he carries.
This, Is to give up faith.
It is.
To be forgotten.
To be forgotten by your friends,
Is to be lost to the mind,
To be forgotten by your family,
Is to be sent to the outside alone.
To be forgotten By your god,
Whomever he may be..
Is to be lost to the world.
